Littlewoods Poker has announced the Bounty Tournaments. Every player wants to knock a big name out of a poker tournament. Celebrities, professional poker players, Leaderboard winners – all might be assigned a cash bounty prior to the start of a Bounty tournament. These players are under heavy pursuit but they will be up for the challenge, as they get their own bounty if they win the tournament.
How to play:
Bounty tournaments are an exciting new way for players to earn extra cash in tournaments. All players who enter a bounty tournament pay the same entry fee. On top of the regular tournament prize pool, certain players in the tournament will be on a list of bounty players – with a prize on their head! Knock them out of the tournament and claim your prize.
Step-by-Step Guide:
Step 1. Choose Your Bounty Tournament
In the Main Lobby, click on the Tourney tab. Bounty tournaments can be easily identified by the unique “B” icon displayed on the left hand side of the tournament listing. Select a Bounty tournament that has a status of Registering – these are ready to join. Bounty money is always money added, which means that players are never contributing to other player's bounties!
Step 2. Start Playing
Beyond the regular game play, in these tournaments the bounty players are lurking at certain tables. Check the tournament lobby for players whose names appear in orange – those are your targets. The amount of their bounty is displayed beside their name.
Step 3. Eliminating a Bounty Player
The tournament will continue until one player has won all the chips. If you have eliminated a bounty player, the bounty will be credited to your account after the tournament has finished. If you have finished in the money, your share of the prize pool will also be credited to your account.
Bounty Tournament Rules
• A player wins multiple bounties if they eliminate more than one bounty player.
• Bounties are never split! If a bounty player is eliminated by two or more players who split the pot, the bounty is awarded to the winning player with the largest stack. If the stacks are equal, the winning player closest to the button receives the bounty.
• If a bounty player wins the tournament, they keep their own bounty.
